Director of Infrastructure Services - Town of Qualicum Beach
The Town of Qualicum Beach is recruiting a Director of Infrastructure Services who is a proven, progressive leader. In this role, you will be working with a group of talented and dedicated people to help shape the Town’s future. You will have the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the organization and the community.
Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, the Director is responsible for the planning, development and management of the Town’s built infrastructure and natural assets. This includes roads, drainage systems, facilities, parks, water and sewer systems, wetlands, urban forest, and other natural areas under the Town’s responsibility.
Chief Administrative Officer - District of Port Edward
The District of Port Edward is a vibrant and growing community of approximately 500 people. Situated on the traditional unceded territory of the Ts’msyen (Tsimshian) people, Port Edward is 15 kilometers from the City of Prince Rupert on the beautiful Pacific North Coast.
Reporting to the District’s Mayor and Council, you will be accountable for directing and overseeing all municipal services. You will be driven and have excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to effectively manage people and construction projects. You will regularly interact with the public in a variety of capacities, using your excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Interest and/or experience in finance, engineering and planning would be an asset, as well as an attitude of a self-starter.
