Responsible to the Mayor and Council for the effective management of the City, the CAO will be responsible for organizing, planning, and directing all the operations and activities of Armstrong. A solid communicator, you are ready to develop effective relationships with staff, elected officials, the public, and neighbouring municipalities and partners of the City.
The ideal candidate will bring:
- local government experience
- a degree, diploma, or certificate in public administration or related discipline
- a proven record of team leadership, and experience in human resources
- excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
- the ability to meet the challenges of a small community quickly
- a positive, energetic, “can-do” approach
The salary range for the role is $165,000 – $175,000.
