As the Director of Operational Services, you will oversee the management, administration, and technical work related to the Town’s infrastructure and operational services, including related contracts and project management. Key areas of responsibility for this role include solid waste, water and wastewater systems, and municipal infrastructure.

Working in alignment with Council’s strategic priorities, approved budgets, legislative requirements, and community expectations, you will bring with you the following qualifications and abilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Public Administration, or related field, and a minimum of five years of experience in public works management in a municipal environment. A Certified Applied Science Technologist Diploma or Professional Civil Engineering Diploma from a recognized educational institution combined with significant experience in municipal management may be considered as an equivalent.
• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible municipal experience, including personnel management in a unionized setting, and high-level experience in managing the operations functions of a local government.
• Valid B.C. Drivers Licence and clean driving record.
• May be requested to obtain additional certifications and/or training related to current job classification.
• Must be able to pass a police records check.

The role offers an annual wage range of $132,040 to $155,340 (2026 rates).
